Tuesday / Wednesday
“Cape Town, here we come!”
Thabo and Thembeka are ready for a week’s holiday in Cape Town. Will Father get them to the bus terminal in time? Will Thabo have the courage to chat to the pretty girl? Will Cousin David recognise them?

Thursday
“Table Mountain has no tablecloth today”
It’s a perfect day for going up Table Mountain. Will the Rotair be fun? Will they meet any interesting people? Will they identify Robben Island? Will they see any interesting birds and animals?

Friday
“Look, there’s Robben Island!”
Thabo is pleasantly surprised by the Robben Island experience. Will Thabo find the museum interesting? Will the guide help them to see the good that came of Robben Island? Will they see Nelson Mandela’s prison cell?

Saturday
" Let’s take a scenic drive over Chapman’s Peak!”
Cousin David grants Thabo and Thembeka’s wishes! Will they enjoy the scenic drive along the coast? Will Aunt Sophie be afraid of driving over Chapman’s Peak? Will Kirstenbosch gardens meet Thembeka’s expectations?

Sunday
“I love that great train ride!”
A very busy day! Will Thabo and Thembeka get off the train at the right station? Will they find out about Just Nuisance? Will Thabo swim with Penguins at Boulders? Will the baboons cause any trouble at Cape Point?

Monday
“Hooray, hooray, we’re riding the bus today!”
The City Sightseeing bus is the perfect way to spend the last day in Cape Town! Where will they decide to get off the bus? Will Thabo appreciate the National Art Gallery? Will the pretty girl on the beach recognise Thabo?

A week isn’t nearly enough time to experience everything that Cape Town has to offer. They will definitely be back for more exciting adventures some time soon!
At the end of the week, Aunt Sophie and Cousin David invite them to join them on a three week road trip. In the next book in the series, they are off to the Garden Route!
